— WHAT IS PRESSURE GAUGE CALIBRATION —
Pressure gauges on autoclaves, ventilators, anaesthesia machines, and medical gas pipelines are safety-critical instruments. A gauge reading 0.5 bar too low on a steam autoclave means the sterilization chamber never reaches the required pressure — and surgical instruments may not be sterilized. The consequences are invisible until something goes catastrophically wrong.
Biomedical pressure gauge calibration involves comparing gauge readings against NPL-traceable dead-weight testers or digital reference standards at multiple points, measuring linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability. Deviations are documented and corrected. The result is a NABL certificate confirming compliance with EN 837 — accepted by NABH, WHO GMP, and FDA auditors across India and internationally.
Check
Pressure accuracy tested at 5+ points — ascending and descending — against NPL-traceable dead-weight tester.
Correct
Zero and span adjustment performed; correction factor table issued for fixed gauges.
Certify
NABL CC-2480 certificate issued with hysteresis, uncertainty (k=2), and EN 837 traceability.
— INSTRUMENTS COVERED —
Analog, digital, autoclave, and vacuum pressure gauges — all calibrated per EN 837 with NPL-traceable references.
Bourdon tube analog gauges calibrated for linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability across the full pressure range.
Electronic pressure gauges with digital display calibrated for accuracy and zero error at multiple pressure points.
Dedicated steam autoclave pressure gauges verified for accuracy at sterilization pressures and safety valve set points.
Negative pressure gauges and vacuum indicators calibrated for accuracy from atmospheric to full vacuum.
— OUR PROCESS —
Pressure gauge received and tagged. As-found condition recorded — dial legibility, pointer condition, case integrity, and connection type documented.
Zero reading verified at atmospheric pressure. Connection fittings pressure-tested for leaks before calibration begins.
Gauge reading compared against NPL-traceable dead-weight tester or digital reference at 5+ ascending and descending points. Hysteresis recorded.
Zero and span adjustment performed where mechanically possible. Correction table issued for fixed-reading gauges.
Post-adjustment readings verified across the full calibration range. Expanded uncertainty calculated per ISO/IEC 17025.
NABL CC-2480 certificate with as-found/as-left data, hysteresis, uncertainty (k=2), and EN 837 traceability issued within 24 hours.
— STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE —
Every biomedical pressure gauge calibration follows EN 837 with full traceability to NPL national pressure standards. Our certificates satisfy NABH, WHO GMP, FDA, and all medical equipment audit requirements.

Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, recognized under the ILAC MRA agreement. Our biomedical calibration certificates are valid for WHO GMP, FDA, NABH, and all audit purposes.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
For routine maintenance, bulk calibration, or facilities not needing NABL certification — Prism offers cost-effective non-NABL calibration with the same trained engineers and traceable references.
All non-NABL jobs use the same NPL-traceable references — only the certificate type differs.
Non-NABL jobs completed faster — ideal for urgent maintenance or large bulk batches.
Priced lower than NABL — right choice for internal checks and non-audit use cases.
Available at our Ahmedabad lab and as onsite service across Gujarat — same team, same quality.
— AREAS WE SERVICE —
NABL-certified engineers travel to your facility across Gujarat — hospital, pharma, or laboratory onsite service.
Why Choose Prism
Since 2004, every NABL biomedical certificate issued by Prism has been accepted by WHO GMP, FDA, NABH, and ISO auditors — no rejections, no rework.

NABL Accreditation Disclaimer
Calibration services are provided under NABL Certificate CC-2480 in strict accordance with our officially approved scope of accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025:2017). Parameters or onsite conditions falling outside our active NABL scope are processed with standard metrological traceability to NPL/BIPM national standards.
