— WHAT IS TEMPERATURE GAUGE CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on a temperature gauge for daily measurements. If it has drifted even slightly from its true value, every reading becomes unreliable — leading to defective products, failed audits, or safety risks. Regular calibration is the only way to confirm your instrument is telling the truth.
Temperature Gauge calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.
Compare readings against a NABL-traceable reference standard across the full measurement range.
Adjust or document deviations so your instrument reads within accepted tolerance.
Issue a NABL-accredited certificate (CC-2480) with full traceability documentation.

Bimetallic dial thermometers for industrial temperature monitoring.
Gas-actuated temperature gauges for remote reading and high-vibration environments.
Glass mercury thermometers for laboratory and reference temperature measurement.
Industrial dial thermometers for process vessels, tanks, and pipelines.
Maximum/minimum thermometers for recording extreme temperature values.
Stem-type glass thermometers for direct immersion temperature measurement.
— OUR PROCESS —
Temperature gauge received. Dial diameter, stem length, process connection, and reading verified. Physical condition documented.
Calibrated stirred liquid bath (oil or water) stabilised to first setpoint. Reference thermometer and gauge under test inserted.
Readings taken at 5 calibration points spanning the gauge range. Ascending and descending readings documented.
Error at each calibration point calculated as gauge reading minus reference reading. Expanded uncertainty (k=2) computed.
As-found errors compared to specification. Gauges within tolerance certified. Out-of-tolerance gauges flagged for adjustment or replacement.
NABL CC-2480 certificate with temperature data, deviations, uncertainty (k=2), EN 13190 traceability.

NABL Accreditation Standard
Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Temperature gauge certificates accepted by ISO 9001, pharma validation, FSSAI food safety, WHO-cGMP, and all process industry audit bodies.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
For routine maintenance, bulk calibration, or internal QC checks where a full NABL certificate is not mandatory — Prism offers cost-effective non-NABL calibration using the same NABL-traceable reference standards and trained engineers.
All non-NABL work uses NABL-certified reference standards — readings are still reliable and defensible.
Without full NABL documentation, instruments return faster — ideal for urgent production schedules.
Non-NABL calibration costs less — practical for large batches or routine periodic checks.
Available at your facility or at our Vatva lab — same quality, more flexibility.
— AREAS WE SERVICE —
Batch calibration with fast turnaround. Courier pick-up and delivery across Gujarat for large quantities of temperature gauges.
Why Choose Prism
Since 2004, every NABL temperature gauge certificate from Prism has been accepted by food, pharma, and process industry auditors — no rejections.
