— WHAT IS CALIPER CALIBRATION —
Think of a tailor who uses a measuring tape that stretches over time — the clothes they stitch will never fit right. A caliper works the same way. If its jaw is worn or its zero has drifted, every measurement your quality team makes is wrong — and so are the parts you produce.
Caliper calibration means checking your caliper against certified gauge blocks traceable to NPL, finding how much it reads high or low, correcting it, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, BIS, and every quality auditor.
Check
We measure against NPL-traceable gauge blocks at 5+ points and record all errors (As-Found).
Correct
We adjust the zero, check jaw parallelism, and issue a correction table if needed.
Certify
NABL CC-2480 certificate with as-found/as-left data — accepted by ISO 9001 & IATF.
— INSTRUMENTS COVERED —
All 6 caliper types · All makes (Mitutoyo, Baker, Insize, Starrett) · NABL accredited
Vernier calipers for inside, outside, depth, and step measurements.
Digital calipers with electronic display and inch/mm conversion.
Depth calipers for measuring hole depth and slot depth.
Step and offset calipers for measuring heights and steps.
Inside calipers for measuring internal diameters and widths.
Outside calipers for measuring external dimensions and diameters.
— OUR PROCESS —
Caliper received, tagged, incoming condition documented — jaw condition, scale legibility, depth rod.
Jaws cleaned, zero error noted (as-found). Sliding action and depth rod movement checked and recorded.
Measured against NPL-traceable gauge blocks at 5+ points. All deviations recorded.
Zero adjustment performed. Correction table issued for fixed-reading instruments.
Post-adjustment readings verified at all calibration points. Uncertainty calculated per ISO/IEC 17025.
NABL CC-2480 certificate with as-found/as-left data, uncertainty (k=2), ISO 13225 traceability.
— STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE —
Every caliper calibration follows documented ISO 13225 and NPL procedures — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, BIS, FDA, and GPCB auditors.

Prism holds NABL CC-2480 under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, recognized under the ILAC MRA agreement. Our caliper calibration certificates are valid for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, BIS, and all audit purposes.
— NON-NABL CALIBRATION —
For routine maintenance, bulk calibration, or workshops not needing NABL certification — Prism offers cost-effective non-NABL caliper calibration with the same trained engineers and traceable references.
All non-NABL jobs use the same NPL-traceable gauge blocks — only the certificate type differs.
Non-NABL caliper jobs completed faster — ideal for urgent maintenance or large bulk batches.
Priced lower than NABL — right choice for internal checks and non-audit use cases.
Available at our Ahmedabad lab and as onsite service across Gujarat — same team, same quality.
— AREAS WE SERVICE —
NABL-certified engineers travel to your facility with portable gauge block sets — calibrate 50+ calipers per day onsite, zero downtime.
Why Choose Prism
Since 2004, every NABL caliper certificate issued by Prism has been accepted by ISO, IATF, BIS, FDA, and GPCB auditors — no rejections, no rework.

Calibration services are provided under NABL Certificate CC-2480 in strict accordance with our officially approved scope of accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025:2017). Parameters or onsite conditions falling outside our active NABL scope are processed with standard metrological traceability to NPL/BIPM national standards.
