— WHAT IS MEASURING CYLINDER CALIBRATION —
Think of a quality lab that relies on a measuring cylinder for daily measurements. Measuring Cylinder calibration means comparing its readings against a NABL-traceable certified reference standard at multiple test points, recording the deviations, adjusting where possible, and issuing an NABL certificate — accepted by ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and all quality auditors.

— OUR PROCESS —
Cylinder and ultra-pure water (ISO 3696 Grade 1) stabilised at 20 ± 0.5°C for 30 minutes in the temperature-controlled calibration room.
Cylinder inspected for cracks, chips, clouding, and scale legibility. Base and meniscus suitability confirmed. Graduation marks checked.
Water delivered to each nominated graduation mark, then weighed on NABL-calibrated precision balance. Volume calculated from mass using water density at calibration temperature.
Minimum 3 repeat measurements at each setpoint. Mean volume, standard deviation, and systematic error (bias) computed per ISO 4787.
Mean error compared to ISO 4788 or ASTM E1272 maximum permissible error for the stated capacity and class.
NABL CC-2480 certificate reporting nominal volume, mean dispensed volume, error, expanded uncertainty (k=2), calibration temperature, and ISO 4788 class.
