What It Means & Why It Matters
UTM calibration is the process of verifying the force readout of a universal testing machine against NPL-traceable deadweight or force transfer standards at defined test points per ISO 7500-1. Torque wrench calibration verifies indicated torque against traceable references per ISO 6789.
Two critical states are documented: As-Found (pre-calibration error at each force/torque point) and As-Left (post-adjustment accuracy). This data is mandatory for ISO 9001, PED, ASME, and safety compliance audits.

Adjustment / Correction
